The reason most people fail at new year’s resolutions is that they try to change too much at the same time but don’t work on it enough time until it becomes second nature.
You see, changing habits is like working on a muscle. You need to focus on and practice it for a period of time until it becomes a new automatic habit; then the program will run automatically, effortlessly.
How many times do you learn how to walk? Apart from a few medical reasons, most people only learn once, and then they just walk. Walking becomes second nature. The same process applies to our beliefs and behaviour. Once you learn how to be the creator of your life, it will be second nature, and never again will you be a victim to your circumstances.
Note: This is a process. It requires work and time. You don’t harvest the day you plant your seeds. We are under the influence of Universal Laws.
Step 1
The first step is to take inventory of your current situation so you know what needs to be changed.
This might seem too simplistic, but most people don’t even know what they want. So, I often recommend them to write down the present situation and then underline what they do not want so they can know what they truly want.
Step 2
Now that you know what you want, the second step is to set your goal. Goal setting only works if you write them down and work on them one step at a time.
What do you want? Where? How? Who or with who? Know as many details as possible.
For example, if you want money, don’t just say “I want a ton of money.” Pick a number that you believe you can achieve. Even if you have to start small and grow from there.
Sometimes, the smaller you start, the better because you grow self-confidence. The moment you manifest your small goal, you will trust yourself to set a bigger goal.
See it as a game and level up!
Step 3
The person you are right now is not the same person that you will be once you manifest your goal. So, the third step to changing your habits and your personality is this: You need to decide who you have to become. Who is the new you? Once you reach your goal, how are you going to feel?
Remember, the law of attraction only attracts that which you vibrate. How would reaching your goal make you feel? Can you close your eyes and feel those emotions now? Try feeling that for a while.
Vibration is energy in motion (emotion). For example, you might have to become more honest with yourself, more disciplined, or more confident. Then you need to decide what habits you need to change. It takes one habit to replace another one. Look into your habits and pick one to be replaced by another that will get you closer to your goal.
Step 4
Gratitude
We are energetic beings, and the universal law of vibration states that you attract that which you vibrate. That’s all that the law of attraction will bring you. Imagine that you are a magnet; you will attract energy that matches yours. There is no other way. That’s how the universal laws work, whether you want it or not.
Think about the law of gravity. The law doesn’t care what you think of it. It simply is, and you have no other option but to act according to it.
We say “thank you” after receiving something. So, if you feel grateful as if you already have it, you are vibrating the manifestation of your goal, and the law of attraction has to match it. There is no other way.
Look around you; what are you grateful for? Even in the toughest times, you can find something to be grateful for. That in itself will help raise your vibration and help you feel good faster. The better you feel, the more goodness you will attract.
Step 5
The fifth step is Scripting!
Ask, and it shall be given you. Yep. It’s proven that you can create your life with the power of your imagination. Create your life into existence.
Start planting your seeds today. One year from now, you will be grateful that you’ve started now.
